On several ocassions uses have reported that when they double click on their database icon for mail, it opens twice on the worksapce. One copy of the email database looks normal, the other looks like a more "raw" version - the folder list is wrong, etc.
Once it starts happening, it always happens on the users machine. If I open their email on another machine it is okay.
On the users machine I tried deleting the desktop file, the cache file. Creating a blank names.nsf. Refreshing the design of the database. I even broke the installation of Notes down to its basic setup (deleted user files, and took the notes.ini file back to its basic setup) - none of this worked.
To solve the problem I had to uninstall and re-install the Notes client
Has anyone else seen this? Is there any other way to fix it?
